We are seeking ambitious women who are ready to build and grow their own THE TEN SPOT franchise. This capital grant provides essential funding to support the initial stages of opening your franchise, helping you get started with confidence.
WHY APPLY:
This grant is designed to provide women entrepreneurs with the capital support needed to reduce the financial barriers to entry for starting a franchise. It’s more than just a grant—it’s an investment in your future, providing the resources necessary to open a thriving THE TEN SPOT location and become part of a successful brand.
HOW THE CAPITAL GRANT WORKS
Award Amount: We are awarding 10 capital grants of $10,000 each.
Purpose of the Grant: This capital support is intended to be used for the buildout of your franchise location, including construction, interior design, and setup. Additionally, the grant can be applied to marketing costs to help drive awareness and attract customers to your new location.
Grant Support: The grant amount is a $10,000 CND off of the Initial Franchise Fee, to be credited toward your initial franchise investment to help you launch your THE TEN SPOT location with the financial backing needed to succeed.
ELIGIBILITY:
- You must be woman interested in opening and operating THE TEN SPOT franchise.(Partnership agreements are eligible.)
- You must be committed to using the grant for the buildout and marketing of your new location.

The Women in Franchising Grant is dedicated to helping women get their THE TEN SPOT franchise off the ground by offering $10,000 in capital support to 10 successful applicants. Along with funding, recipients will gain expert mentorship and the tools needed to launch their own beauty bar.

2. MEET FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for the grant, you must meet all THE TEN SPOT franchise awarding requirements. This includes:
- Financial qualifications (having the necessary capital or financing plans).
- Experience requirements, which may include business experience, leadership roles, or previous franchise experience.
- Location suitability, ensuring your chosen location meets the brand’s standards and target demographics.
- Commitment to the franchise’s values and your ability to operate the franchise according to THE TEN SPOT’s operational guidelines.
3. APPLICATION REVIEW & NEXT STEPS
- Once your application and supporting documentation have been submitted, our team will review your information and evaluate how well you meet our franchise awarding criteria.
- Our team will reach out to discuss next steps and may request further details or schedule an interview to get to know you better. If you’re selected, we’ll provide you with details on the grant and the process for moving forward with your franchise ownership.

The $100,000 Women in Franchising Capital Grant is a limited-time offer and is subject to availability. The grant provides a discount toward the initial franchise fee only and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or applied to other expenses outside of its intended use (buildout and marketing). The grant cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or incentives unless explicitly stated.
Applying for the grant does not guarantee franchise approval. All applicants must still meet THE TEN SPOT’s financial, operational, and legal qualifications before being awarded a franchise. The grant does not exempt recipients from any franchise fees, agreements, or obligations beyond the discounted amount.
Eligibility & Compliance:
This grant is available only in Canada, excluding Quebec.
Only first-time THE TEN SPOT franchisees are eligible. Existing franchisees and those under contract but not yet open do not qualify.
Grant recipients must comply with all THE TEN SPOT franchising agreements, training, and operational requirements to maintain eligibility.
THE TEN SPOT reserves the right to modify or discontinue the grant program at any time.
Financial & Legal Compliance:
Grant recipients are solely responsible for any taxes or financial reporting obligations associated with accepting the grant.
Franchise opportunities are available only in jurisdictions where THE TEN SPOT has met applicable registration and disclosure requirements.
Any and all sales figures listed are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted. These figures represent the Gross Sales of top-performing bars and the top-performing percentile of our operational locations across varying markets.
