I felt overwhelmed, unfulfilled, frustrated, powerless, and disconnected from everyone—but most importantly, from myself. It was as if the bright, vibrant light I once had was completely extinguished, and I was resigned to living the life I had created, one that was making both myself and others miserable.
Despite having achieved all the traditional markers of success – being the CEO and scaling my business into an international brand, having the house, the husband and a wonderful kid – I was anything but happy.
