Sometimes the smallest, most ordinary moments are the ones that change everything.
A Simple Post That Landed Deeper Than Expected
I was thinking about how you never really know the impact of what you say or do.
For example, the other week I posted something in my private community chat inside my LIFE AT A TEN® program that I thought was totally innocuous.
It wasn’t a deep lesson or big pep talk, just a simple post about having a 10/10 kind of morning. I got up early, the sun was shining, I had a few appointments downtown (which meant I put on ‘real clothes’ and did my make up…), and I was just feeling it. Ok, also treated myself to a glass of chilled Chablis at lunch so maybe it was that I was feeling…

Regardless.
Then, last week on a Coaching Call, one of my students (members? clients? – still haven’t worked out what to call my beautiful pupils..) told me that that post had completely changed how she approached her days and weeks over the last little bit! She said seeing me share that small, joyful moment inspired her to find her own little “10/10 moments”.
I was like, “whhhhhaatttt?!?! That random, maybe (Re: for sure) slightly tipsy mid-day post made you LIVE DIFFERENTLY?!?!’
Anyway, it got me thinking about how you never know you’re impact and that by just be you, living your regular life – can have such a meaningful impact on someone else without even realizing it.
The Real Meaning of Purpose
And honestly, that’s what purpose really is. It’s being the brightest, most vibrant expression of yourself and sharing that with the world.
When you do that, you not only give yourself the gift of living in alignment with who you really are, but you also become a gift to others… even if you never see it happen.
In another totally oblivious instance, my son told me that he can’t wait to make jam shortbread cookies that they’re his favourite.
I was like, What are you talking about? I didn’t even realize he’d ever eaten one of those.
But turns out he did and they’re a core Christmas memory for him. Who knew!
(So of course we made a bunch together this week.)
This Week’s Reminder:
Be you.
That’s the magic.
